About us
Easigrass™ Johannesburg North is an official supplier and installer of Easigrass artificial grass products in the Joburg North area including Fourways, Sandton, Roodepoort, Soweto, Randfontein, and Krugersdorp. We offer a professional service through knowledgeable consultants, who review the customers needs and make cost effective recommendations and installation teams with training and experience in residential, industrial, commercial and sporting applications and maintenance.
As an owner-run business headed up by Jonty Kirkby, we are a friendly and hard-working team who are passionate about turning gardens and spaces into beautiful and functional areas that create fun memories for you and your family.
After graduating with a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management in 2001, Jonty joined the family business, TopTurf, as Trainee Manager. During this period, he took on many relief positions including Greenkeeper Dainfern Golf Estate, Landscape Construction Bakubung, Greenkeeper Lost City Golf Course, Manager Sun City Maintenance Contract.
This led to him being appointed Area Manager of the TopTurf North West Division which included the entire Sun City Contract and Lost City Gardens and Golf Courses. A Company directorship soon followed. In December 2007 he was appointed Managing Director of TopTurf Mauritius (Ltd) where he cemented and grew the business substantially. At the height of his tenure, he was maintaining 15 of the most prestigious 5 star resorts, golf courses and developments on the island.
In June 2011 he returned to SA to head up the substantial maintenance portfolio for Bidvest TopTurf. Feeling the entrepreneurial urge he left TopTurf in July 2013 to set up his own business, RealGreen.
Jonty is passionate about the maintenance of landscapes and SportsTurf and believes that there is no excuse for not being World Class. Staff productivity, high standards and attention to detail are his success factors. Customer service and strategic partnering drive his relationships with his clients and result in lasting win-win situations for both parties.
After 7 successful years of RealGreen operating in 3 countries and across multiple provinces in South Africa in the Landscape maintenance and Installation market, the decision to expand our product offering to include synthetic turf was taken.
After discussions with Easigrass it was evident that our values and quest for world class standards and customer satisfaction were aligned and would make a perfect fit. RealGreen was offered the Johannesburg North Dealership, and with that the move into the synthetic turf market became a reality.
Even though the area we service is the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg, we are more than happy to put you in contact with one of the Easigrass experts in your area should you fall outside of our assigned area.
